Chelsea star Eden Hazard is having an awesome start to the season, at the back of his extraordinary form at the World Cup.
Hazard has scored six goals in seven games this season and his last was an extraordinary solo goal against Liverpool that sent the Reds packing out of the Carabao Cup.
The Belgian is enjoying life under Maurizio Sarri, and the Italian said that Hazard is currently the best in the world after his hat-trick against Cardiff City.
The Chelsea boss has now told Hazard that he isn’t yet at his full level, and has urged him to work and reach his full potential which will make him the best player in the world.
He said: “Of course [he is more intense in matches than training], every player prefers to play than work without the ball. He needs more continuity in the physical and mental point of view.
“He is one of the best. I’m absolutely convinced he can improve. I think we’ve only seen 75-80% of his potential. If he can improve, he can be the best in the world.
“It’s very difficult to compare [if he is the best player I have coached]. He’s a genius. He’s unique.
“He has the opportunity to improve more. Technically he’s the best. I want him to be the best in the world.”
