Chelsea are currently top of the league after 5 games played, as the Blues lead on goal difference ahead of Liverpool who also have a perfect start to the season and are second on the table.
Chelsea will be away to West Ham at the London Stadium on Sunday, in what should be an interesting London derby.
The Hammers have been struggling this season and had lost all their games until their 3-1 victory over Everton during the weekend which saw them climb from bottom of the table to 16th position.
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has revealed that he has put a keen eye on West Ham’s performances this season and he believes Manuel Pellegrini’s side are lucky to be where they are on the table.
Sarri is expecting a tough game at the London Stadium despite Chelsea’s top form and West Ham’s bad form.
Sarri said ahead of the game: “I have seen the five matches of West Ham in the Premier League, and I think they have been unlucky.
“They changed in the last match against Everton from 4-2-3-1 to 4-1-4-1 and they played very well. Their position in the table is not a realistic one.”
This game will be Sarri’s second London derby clash having overseen Chelsea defeat Arsenal 3-2 in a mouthwatering clash early this season.
West Ham have been tough neighbours to Chelsea in recent games, and the Hammers have won two of the last six Premier League meetings. Chelsea have won only two as well, and two have ended in draws.
