The race for the Premier League title this season might be the toughest we have seen in a while as we enter the international break with three teams tied at the top with equal points.
Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea are the favourites for the title this season, but most people are rooting for City and Liverpool to be crowned champions at the end of the season.
New Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has got Chelsea playing attractive football, and the Blues are yet to lose a game in all competitions so far this season.
However, Graeme Souness has warned Chelsea that they must get a quality striker if they want to beat Liverpool and City to the title. Chelsea’s strikers Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud have only scored twice this season, with the bulk of the goals coming from Eden Hazard.
Souness believes Chelsea will be better off with a goal getter.
“I maintain that Chelsea, if they had an out-and-out ‘goal-getter’ they could join these two [Liverpool and City,” Souness told Sky Sports.
“Without Hazard they don’t have as much threat. Both of these two have more players that can threaten.
“It will be between one of Liverpool and City. Don’t write Chelsea out but they need a real ‘goal-getter’.
“If anything happened to Hazard they’d be in trouble. I like their football but I’ve got a slight doubt about them.”
