Manchester United forward Anthony Martial scored a brace in the 2-2 draw between Chelsea and Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Chelsea were a goal up before Martial scored a brace that sent United 2-1 ahead, but thankfully Ross Barkley was at the right place at the right time to score a last-gasp effort and seal a 2-2 draw for Chelsea.
After the match, Martial posted a picture on Instagram of himself celebrating scoring for United and pointing to the club badge – and surprisingly, Chelsea loanee Tiemoue Bakayoko liked the post.
Bakayoko’s action has raised a stir among Chelsea fans, and the 24-year-old went ahead to unlike the post, but it was already late as eagle-eyed Chelsea fans had already spotted it.
Bakayoko who struggled for Chelsea last season after making a £40m switch from Monaco last year had joined Italian side AC Milan on a season-long load deal with an option to buy. But his form in Milan hasn’t been impressive, and reports claim that Milan might be unwilling to trigger his sale due to his poor form.
Earlier this month, AC Milan manager Gennaro Gattuso admitted that the Chelsea loanee is struggling and needs help.
“Bakayoko needs to be helped, as he is struggling,” said Gattuso.
“The tactics haven’t been drilled into his head yet and evidently it’s my fault, we need to do more work with him in training.
“He has been here for two months and we haven’t yet been able to get him to understand the movements.
“It is our duty to improve him as a player, because he does have a lot of quality and we’re not finding that yet.”
