Chelsea midfielder Ethan Ampadu suffered a knee injury during Wales’ friendly with Spain on Thursday evening.
The 18-year-old midfielder was making his fifth international appearance for Wales but was forced to leave the pitch five minutes into the second half of the friendly.
Chelsea teammates Alvaro Morata and Cesar Azpilicueta, who both started for Spain in the 4-1 win over Wales, consoled the youngster while he was seen to by physios before leaving the pitch.
Despite failing to make an appearance for Chelsea this season under Maurizio Sarri, Ampadu has been in fine form on the international scene.
We wish Ampadu a quick recovery.
