Chelsea have started the season brilliantly and the Blues are reportedly seeking to maintain the momentum under Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri by signing two Serie A stars.
According to TEAMtalk, Sarri has urged Chelsea chiefs to make a £130million double bid for Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski and defensive ace Kalidou Koulibaly.
Sarri worked with the duo during his time as Napoli boss and he reportedly wants to bring them to Stamford Bridge.
24-year-old Zielinski has three years left on his Napoli contract but he also has a release clause of just under £60million. Napoli are trying to re-negotiate his contract to increase the release clause or eliminate it and Chelsea would need to act fast.
27-year-old Koulibaly has been a long-term target for Chelsea but the Blues haven’t been able to sign the Senegalese international. Koulibaly signed a new five-year deal in the summer and that could make a transfer to Chelsea even difficult.
Both players have been key players for Carlo Ancelotti’s team so far this season, appearing in 8 Serie A matches and both Champions League group stage matches.
