Chelsea U19 squad defeated Molde 10-1 at home in the first leg of the UEFA Youth League clash, and the Blues added four more away from home in the second leg clash on Wednesday evening.
In the first leg of the tie, Chelsea were 7-0 up at half-time, but it was a more difficult tie in Norway as the young Blues could only score one goal in over one hour of play.
However, Charlie Brown was on fire in the last ten minutes of the game as he scored a hat-trick to further humiliate Molde.
Chelsea are now through to the second knockout round, where they will take on IF Elfsborg. The winners of that tie will advance to host a group stage runner-up from the UEFA Champions League pathway.
Chelsea youth side are on fire this season and will be looking to go one step further after reaching last season’s final only to crash out following a 3-0 defeat against Barcelona.
