Chelsea star Eden Hazard has always shown that he is a lively character, and the 27-year-old has risen to be a fan favourite since joining Chelsea from Lille in 2012.
Hazard has formed some nice partnerships with players in Chelsea, and the Belgium captain has also revealed some of the players he keeps in touch with outside the club.
Asked which fellow professionals he speaks with on Whatsapp, Hazard said: “Mo Salah. I played with him at Chelsea together, he became a friend. I speak with Mbappe too. I know Varane because he was in Lens with Thorgan.”
Hazard was strongly linked with an exit from Chelsea during the summer as Real Madrid were highly interested in the Chelsea star.
However, Hazard has always revealed his admiration for the Spanish side, and he has revealed that he’d be happy with a move to Madrid.
Hazard said: “Let me put it this way: if I ever play for Real Madrid, I will be very happy, and if I will never play for Real Madrid, it is because it is not allowed. And then I will be happy at Chelsea. Voila.”
Hazard has about 20 months left on his contract, and at the end of the season, his contract will remain just one year.
Hazard’s future remains uncertain, and Chelsea are keen to tie him to a new deal. But whether he will sign a new contract remains to be seen.
