Romelu Lukaku was in fine form for Belgium as he scored a brace in Belgium’s 2-1 victory over Switzerland on Friday evening.
Lukaku has scored for times for Manchester United in the Premier League this season, and he will be up against his former side Chelsea this weekend when Chelsea play host to Jose Mourinho led Manchester United side.
Chelsea star Eden Hazard has now revealed that he hopes Lukaku won’t be able to continue his scoring form this weekend when Chelsea host Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.
“It’s not a good sign that Romelu scored tonight, because I’m playing against him with Chelsea very soon,” Hazard told RTL.
“If he scores with Belgium it’s fine, but it would be a good thing if he does not with Manchester United.”
Hazard will also be a threat for Manchester United, and one will wonder if Jose Mourinho will deploy a player to man-mark Hazard as he did with Ander Herrera last year at Old Trafford.
Hazard has been in phenomenal form this season and tops the scoring chart in the Premier League with seven goals to his credit.
Chelsea have had a good start to the season and are joint top with Manchester City and Liverpool, as goal difference is the only thing separating all three teams.
