Eden Hazard is the man many will be looking out for in Chelsea’s crunch Saturday lunchtime kick-off against Manchester United.
Hazard has been the best player in the league so far this season, and after an extraordinary start to the campaign, one can only wonder how he will fare against United.
Mourinho has often used a man-marking tactic to ward off the threat of Hazard, but ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League clash with Manchester United on Saturday, Mourinho has admitted that he won’t only be thinking of Hazard.
“If I only think about Eden, we are in trouble,” he told Sky Sports. “It’s Eden, It’s Willian, it’s Kante. It’s really hard to play against a team and focus on one man if that special man is surrounded by special players.”
However, we still know that Mourinho will definitely have a plan in mind to stop Hazard, and even Hazard is prepared for him to be man-marked.
Asked if he thinks he will be given special attention by Manchester United, Hazard told Sky Sports: “Yes I think so.
“The last three years against Manchester United it’s been like this. Ander Herrera or last year it was Scott McTominay – I accept that.
“First you must play simple, then pass and move as if Herrera is marking me I know that I’m quicker than him.
“If I pass the ball when I’m running, I could do something good. I also have to move the ball quickly with my team-mates and when around the box try to do something.”
