Chelsea and Manchester United played an interesting 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge, as both teams had to settle for a draw following a late Ross Barkley effort.

After a dull first half that was largely controlled by Chelsea, United were a different side in the second half and a brace from Anthony Martial put United ahead.

The referee added six minutes of stoppage time, and Barkley was at the right place at the right time to score the leveller.

A melee erupted after Barkley’s late equaliser as Maurizio Sarri’s assistant coach Marco Ianni incensed Mourinho when he celebrated in his face following the equaliser.

Players, coaches and stewards got involved in the melee which angered Mourinho, and the Manchester United manager insisted after the game the matter has been resolved.

He said: “I’m not annoyed with anything. What happened with Sarri’s assistant and Sarri was the first person to come to me and say he would resolve the problem internally with him.

“After that the assistant came to my office and apologised to me. I immediately accept the apology if he means it. I said forget it, because I make mistakes too.

“Forget it, it’s over. He apologised and it’s over.”
