Chelsea were expected to beat Manchester United as both teams met at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon, but it was a very difficult and dramatic game that left both teams settling for a point.

Chelsea star Eden Hazard who has been phenomenal this season was expected to be the man United will be wary of in the game, but United boss Jose Mourinho told the press before the game that it isn’t just Hazard he’d be targeting in the match.

“If I only think about Eden, we are in trouble,” he told Sky Sports. “It’s Eden, It’s Willian, it’s Kante. It’s really hard to play against a team and focus on one man if that special man is surrounded by special players.”

Mourinho didn’t eventually man-mark Hazard as was expected, and speaking after the game the Manchester United manager admitted that his side handled Jorginho and Hazard – the two key players for Sarri-ball.

“We were the best team on the pitch,” Mourinho said. “If you say before the game that one point at Stamford Bridge is a good result, it is so difficult to win here but after the game with the way the game was it is an awful result for us and a phenomenal result for them.

“We were in the game, we controlled their triggers, (Eden) Hazard and Jorginho was well controlled.

“After we were 2-1 up we had positions to score the third goal, we were the best team, we were calm in control.

“I hope every referee does the same as Mike Dean and gives six minutes, I don’t know where they came from. We always tried to play, there was no time wasting.

“We defend corners mixed, some zonal, some man to man. Every player knows with closed eyes which player is his player, which space is his sapce. I am pleased with everything apart from the result which is awful for us.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.

We never wanted one of our former best coach to be sacked by winning them.
