It was a difficult game at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea played a 2-2 draw with Jose Mourinho’s side.

Chelsea had taken the lead in the first half through Antonio Rudiger, but a brace from Anthony Martial took the game away from Chelsea, before a very late goal from Ross Barkley sealed a draw in dramatic circumstances.

See the player ratings below

Kepa: Was a passenger in the first half of the game, and couldn’t do much about Martial’s brace. 6/10

Luiz: Was very solid in the first half, but got a bit shaky after United’s goal. His header which struck the bar led to Chelsea’s equalising goal. 6/10

Rudiger: Had a very good game and opened the scoring for Chelsea with a powerful header. Was also involved in the buildup to Ross Barkley’s goal as De Gea denied his effort with a good save. 8/10

Alonso: Started the game brightly as he caused havoc high up on the left flank in the opening minutes of the game. Would be blamed for United’s first goal as he stayed down for so long. His defensive performance today was below par. 5/10

Azpilicueta: Just an average performance from the captain and had a difficult game against Martial. Was involved in the buildup to Chelsea’s equaliser. 6/10

Jorginho: Distributed the ball excellently as Chelsea dominated the game in the first-half, but the game ran by him in the second period as United were a different side in the second-half. 6/10

Kante: Worked hard and was involved in some good moves upfront. Tested De Gea with a fine save in the second half and helped the team with his energy when United turned the heat in the second-half. 7/10

Kovacic: Started the game brightly but couldn’t cope with United’s intensity in the second-half. 6/10

Willian: Was brilliant in the first-half, but his second-half performance wasn’t good enough. 6/10

Hazard: Wasn’t at his best today and put in just a decent performance. 6/10

Morata: Had one good moment where he turned well and tested De Gea, but was just a bit below average for most parts of the game before he was eventually substituted. 5/10

Barkley: Was at the right place at the right time to score Chelsea’s equaliser. 7/10

Pedro: Made little impact after replacing Willian.

Giroud: Came on late in the game for Morata, and made his physicality felt by United’s defence.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
