Chelsea are unbeaten in the Premier League this season and the Blues will be hoping to preserve that record ahead of Manchester United’s visit to Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has revealed Chelsea youngster Ethan Ampadu is out of contention for the game against Manchester United after sustaining a knee injury playing for Wales.
Ross Barkley and Callum Hudson-Odoi are doubts for the game while Antonio Rudiger, who pulled out of the Germany squad during the international break due to injury, is expected to play against United.
“As usual after the international teams there are some problems,” Sarri told reporters.
“The most serious is Ampadu. Then we have a little problem with Odoi and Barkley. For them it is only a question of one or two days.
“The injury to Ampadu is serious, but maybe in a couple of weeks.
“Rudiger has done better in the last two days, like Kovacic, I think they will be okay to play. “
