Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has been in outstanding form in recent years, with some incredible saves that has made many call him the best goalkeeper in the world.

However, De Gea’s form for his country, Spain has been poor in recent times, and he fumbled in the World Cup’s group stage in Russia 2018. Spain fans were frustrated with De Gea during the World Cup and he made some errors as he conceded three goals in Spain’s 3-3 draw with Portugal.

And now, after conceding three goals in Spain’s 3-2 defeat to England, Spanish fans were calling for Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

See some tweets from fans below who had gotten frustrated with the Spain number one.

Kepa joined Chelsea during the summer transfer window for a world record fee of £72m as he has become the most expensive goalkeeper in the world.

The Spaniard has now settled in at Stamford Bridge and was in super form before the international break making saves after saves to keep a clean sheet as Chelsea defeated Southampton 3-0.

Kepa had revealed that his international teammate and Manchester United goalie David De Gea helped him settle at the club after moving from Spain.

“Every player settles into a new league in different ways,” Kepa said.

“David is a team-mate with the national team and we get on really well. When I signed for Chelsea, he gave me some advice, telling me a bit about how it was for him when he came here.

“Of course, he has been here for years now and is playing at a fantastic level. We were at the World Cup together and had a good chat about the differences between Spanish and English football.

“It’s a good thing to interact with a top goalkeeper who has so much experience in the Premier League.

“You need a little time, the usual sort of time it takes to get to know your team-mates and the league itself, but it’s all good generally, I’m very happy.”
