Spanish club Real Madrid watched Chelsea star Eden Hazard while on international duty for Belgium, according to reports from Spain.
The 27-year-old is a target for Real Madrid and he has recently talked about his desire to play for the Madrid-based club.
Hazard’s Chelsea contract will expire in the summer of 2020 and Real Madrid are planning to sign him either in January or after the end of the season.
Spanish media outfit AS claim Real Madrid sent scouts to watch Hazard in action for Belgium against Switzerland during the UEFA Nations League clash on Friday.
With Hazard yet to extend his Chelsea contract, there are fears he could make the switch to Real Madrid at the end of the season after he recently insisted he won’t leave Stamford Bridge in January.
Hazard has started the season brightly for Chelsea, scoring eight goals in all competitions for Chelsea.
