According to a stat by Opta, Chelsea winger Willian is the fastest Chelsea player this season after eight Premier League games. Willian has left markers for dead this season with his pace and according to Opta, he clocked a top speed of 34.892 km/h in Chelsea’s 4-1 win over Cardiff City in September.
Willian is also the fifth fastest player in the Premier League so far this season. Isaac Mbenza of Huddersfield is the fastest Premier League player so far, clocking a speed of 34.953 km/h against Burnley.
Chelsea defender Gary Cahill isn’t just Chelsea’s slowest player this season, according to Opta, he is the slowest player in the Premier League this season.
Cahill’s top speed of 26.34 km/h is the slowest among all players in the Premier League this season.
