Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has transformed Chelsea’s style of play, with the Italian favouring high tempo possession style of play.
According to Paul Mariner, PSV winger Hirving Lozano would be a fantastic addition to the Chelsea squad because he would suit the style of Sarri’s style of play.
The 23-year-old Mexican international has scored 30 goals in 49 appearances since joining PSV in 2017 and scored in the 2-2 Champions League draw against Tottenham on Wednesday.
“I love this lad,” Mariner told ESPN FC.
“He’s fantastic, he’s all energy.
“I think he fits into Sarri’s system, the way that he wants to play the game.
“He’s just a joy to watch.
“He always wants the ball, he makes decent passes, he gets on the end of things.
“I like this kid, I think he would be a fantastic addition to Chelsea, I really do.”
Lozano has also been linked with Manchester United and Tottenham in the past.
Since making his debut for Mexico in 2016, Lozano has scored eight goals in 34 appearances for Mexico.
