Since becoming Chelsea boss over the summer, Maurizio Sarri has made several changes at Chelsea and one of those changes has been turning Chelsea into a possession-hungry team.
Another change Sarri has brought to Chelsea is adjusting training times to afternoons instead of the morning trainings favoured by previous Chelsea managers.
Chelsea star Willian isn’t happy with the decision to train in the afternoon.
Willian told The Times: “Of course, I prefer to train in the morning because then you can stay with your family, your daughters, because when I’m training in the afternoon my kids go home and then when I arrive home, they have dinner and go to bed.
“So I see less of my daughters, that’s why I prefer morning training.”
It’s pretty obvious you can’t make everyone happy irrespective of intentions you have with every decision you make. Sarri opted for afternoon trainings at Chelsea so the players can drop off their kids at school in the morning before coming for training.
Sarri’s change at Chelsea is definitely working as he has led Chelsea to an unbeaten start in the Premier League with the Blues winning five games and drawing two.
The Blues sit two points behind Liverpool and Manchester City going into our clash against Southampton later today.
