Chelsea have been playing some good football this season, and besides being brilliant on the ball, the Blues have also been dominant in games and are yet to lose in all competitions this season.
Although Maurizio Sarri seems to have formed the core of his team, a lot of players are fighting to break into the managers plans.
Chelsea assistant manager Gianfranco Zola has hailed Sarri’s work at the club so far and has insisted that it’s now helping the likes of Ross Barkley and Ruben Loftus-Cheek who have both had an incredible week so far.
Zola said: “It’s not a coincidence. Sarri was known as a coach that works very hard with his team. He pays attention to everything. The consequence of him doing well is because of his ability to work hard with his team.
“On top of that, you have to add the team is following his advice very well. The players are benefitting from what he is doing. For example, Ross Barkley and Ruben.
“Many other players are picking it up very well. They are enjoying the type of football he is trying to implement here. This is creating a good work environment and the results are a consequence of that.”
