Chelsea are reportedly scouting Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson after his excellent start to the new Premier League season according to The Mirror.
Wilson has been in excellent form this season, scoring seven goals and assisting four goals to help Bournemouth move up to sixth in the Premier League table this season.
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri reportedly wants to add to his attack and the Blues could make a move for the 26-year-old Bournemouth striker.
No English striker has contributed to more goals than Wilson this season and his form has led to calls for him to be called up to the next England squad by Gareth Southgate on Thursday.
Chelsea have reportedly increased the number of times Wilson has been scouted and are having him watched on a regular basis between now and the end of the year.
Wilson scored his 50th goal for Bournemouth in their 2-1 loss to Manchester United on Saturday.
“It’s nice to make that achievement. I should have had it a lot sooner,” Wilson said.
“Now I am looking upwards, I am trying to get 100 goals. Why not make another landmark for the club?
“Any striker wants to score as many goals as possible for their club and I’m the same.
“Day by day, I am trying to become the finished article. I don’t think you can ever stop improving.”
