Chelsea are through to the quarterfinals of the Carabao Cup, but it was a difficult game for Maurizio Sarri’s side, as Frank Lampard-led Derby County gave Chelsea tough time at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea eventually won the game 3-2, but it was a very difficult game for Chelsea and Maurizio Sarri.

The victory ensures that Chelsea are through to the quarterfinals of the competition, and Chelsea’s opponent for the quarterfinals have been revealed.

The draw took place on Wednesday as Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink and Jamie Redknapp drew the balls out of the hat live on Sky Sports.

Chelsea will host Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge in the quarterfinal while Arsenal and Tottenham will battle it out.

The ties will take place on the week commencing Monday 17 December 2018.

Sarri will be happy with the progress of his team into this stage of the competition, and the Italian hasn’t hidden his desire to lift this trophy for Chelsea.
