Chelsea star Eden Hazard revealed after the goalless draw at Stamford Bridge against Everton that he is tired and still suffering the effects of the World Cup in the summer.
The 27-year-old played 518 minutes at the World Cup as Belgium progressed to the semi-final stage.
Hazard has now gone four games without a goal for Chelsea after his blistering start to the season.
“Believe me, I am tired!” Hazard told talkSPORT after the stalemate with Everton.
“But I think I’m in good condition to play.
“Last year I got an injury with my ankle for three months. So that’s why I’m fresh now.”
Hazard also revealed when he is on the pitch, he tries to make himself and the fans happy.
“When you are happy on the pitch you can try some things. I’m just enjoying myself,” Hazard added.
“For the last seven years with Chelsea, I have always enjoyed myself.
“When I am on the pitch I try to give happiness, first to me and then to the fans who are watching the game.
“At the moment, we are doing well and that’s why I am doing well. So I am happy to play at the moment.”
