Chelsea star Eden Hazard has revealed he will wait until the end of the season before making a decision on his future.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a move to Real Madrid but is contracted to Chelsea until the summer of 2020.
“I’m only thinking about Chelsea now,” Hazard told Sporza. “The competition lasts seven or eight months, after that I’ll see what happens.”
Hazard’s decision to wait until the end of the season to make a decision on his future isn’t the kind of news Chelsea fans would love to hear.
Maurizio Sarri has changed the style of play at Chelsea since he was appointed as head coach in the summer, with Chelsea playing a high-pressing, possession-based style of play.
Hazard admits he is happy with the style of football Sarri has brought to Chelsea.
“The coach has the same football philosophy as I,” Hazard added.
“He always thinks about the ball. How we as players think about football, that is also his way of thinking.
“If you see how Napoli play, it’s thanks to Maurizio Sarri, his style is now reflected in Chelsea, he also has players who fit into the system. So yes, we’re very happy, we play football well.”
