Former Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta is one of the greatest midfielders of his generation, and definitely one of the best to have played the game.
Iniesta reached mastery in the middle of the pitch for both Barcelona and Spain, and his legendary status cannot be ignored as his records speak for him.
The Spaniard who played alongside many quality players during his time in Europe has now hailed Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante as one player he’d love to have in his team for many years.
Kante has been an important part of Chelsea’s success since he signed for the club, and he also helped France win the World Cup during the summer, and Iniesta has admitted he is a huge fan of the tireless midfielder.
“He’s a player I’d like to have had in my team for many years,” Iniesta told RMC Sport.
“He’s not going to come to Japan, but he’s definitely a player I love because of the work he does on the field and the confidence he has in his game.
“His mastery makes him the centrepiece of Chelsea and the France national team.”
