Chelsea have an away trip to face Belarus side BATE Borisov in the Europa League Group L tie, and the Blues just defeated them 3-1 at Stamford Bridge a fortnight ago.
A point for Chelsea in this game will see the Blues advance to the knockout stage of the competition with a game at hand, and Maurizio Sarri’s men are favourites for this clash.
Ahead of the game in Belarus, Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic on loan from Real Madrid have revealed that the team is in good spirit and the mood in camp is high.
“We are in a perfect mood,” he said. “We are doing good in our league and we are doing good in all competitions so this team wants to play football, we enjoy it, and every game we have an opportunity to show ourselves, so tomorrow we will be prepared and give our best to win the game.”
Some pundits tend to say that Chelsea aren’t playing at their best and many don’t believe we can win the league, but Kovacic insists that it’s a good thing as we are unbeaten and not deemed to be at our best.
“That is a good thing because we are still unbeaten and we have not played at our highest level,” he pointed out.
“We are with the coach only three months and of course it needs time to understand completely and to work on his football. I think we are doing a great job and I am sure in every training and every game we will be better and better.”
