Everton were able to get a draw at Stamford Bridge as the Toffees held Chelsea to a goalless draw.
Marco Silva’s side came to the Bridge with a game plan to sit deep and frustrate Chelsea and then hit on the break, and it worked pretty well for them.
Chelsea star Eden Hazard found it difficult against a packed Everton defence, and although he wasn’t at his best, he still managed to trouble Everton.
Everton manager Marco Silva was happy with the way his team handled Hazard and Jorginho.
He said: “To come here and stop just Hazard it is the first mistake. You have to stop the whole team. Hazard has been the best player in the Premier League this season. But we stopped Jorginho and he is the key man.
“It was fantastic work by the midfield.”
Silva also revealed that he was happy his team were able to get the point away at Stamford Bridge.
He said: “I think we deserved the point. We showed good organisation, what we asked of the players they put on the pitch. We knew before the game it would be tough to play them. We had our chances.
“The second half was different. They had more space and on the ball we could have done better to create chances.”
