Alvaro Morata made it three goals in three games after scoring a brace as Chelsea beat Crystal Palace 3-1 at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Morata has now scored four goals in his last five games for Chelsea, and the 26-year-old seems to be in form at the moment.

Morata has been hailed for his recent form, and Pedro believes his compatriot is growing in confidence with every strike.

“He’s in good condition and he had a very good performance,” Pedro said. “He has the mentality to score goals and help the team, that’s the best way for him.

“We are happy because he’s a very good striker. He runs a lot and scores goals, now he’s in a very good moment so this is the way for him. Scoring goals is very important for him and the team.”

Speaking about his own goal and the team’s victory over Crystal Palace, Pedro said: “Yes it was a very good day for us and for all the team.

“The team worked very hard and I’m very happy to score a goal and get the three points because it’s very important for us to stay near the top and to continue in this way.

“The team are playing very well, moving the ball with one or two touches, creating chances and winning games. The important thing for us is getting the three points but we just need to take it step by step and game by game.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
