Chelsea star Eden Hazard has failed to play for the Blues since picking up a back injury in the 2-2 draw with Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.
The 27-year-old returned to training on Thursday ahead of Chelsea’s clash with Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri doubts Hazard will be able to start on Sunday and revealed he wants to speak with Hazard first before making a decision.
According to Sarri, Hazard might be able to play for 40 to 45 minutes against Crystal Palace.
Asked if Hazard is back to full fitness, Sarri replied: “I don’t know.
“Eden yesterday had a large part of the training with the team. He might not be ready for 90 minutes yet.
“It was the first part of training for a few weeks. He might be able to play for 40 to 45 minutes. I want to speak with him first.”
When asked if Hazard would start against Crystal Palace, Sarri responded: “I don’t know. I want to speak with him first.”
Hazard has missed Chelsea’s recent victories over BATE Borisov, Burnley and Derby.
