Chelsea will make a £70million bid for Real Madrid midfielder Isco this week as the Blues seek to bring the Spanish international to Stamford Bridge in January, according to The Sun.
The 26-year-old midfielder is reportedly surplus to requirements at Real Madrid with boss Santiago Solari and Real Madrid president Florentine Perez is willing to let Isco leave for the right price.
Arsenal and Manchester City are also interested in Isco but Chelsea have moved to beat them by submitting a bid for Isco this week.
The Blues are offering Isco a four and half year contract worth £250,000-a-week which also includes a hefty signing-on fee.
Isco has failed to start a league game since the appointment of Santiago Solari as Real Madrid boss at the end of October and was booed by Real Madrid fans in last week’s Champions League game against CSKA Moscow.
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is a big fan of the player and wants to pair him with star man Eden Hazard.
Isco is reportedly willing to make the move to Stamford Bridge in January.
If negotiations move as quickly as Chelsea hope, Isco could be a Chelsea player in the first week of January.
