Liverpool legend Graeme Souness has admitted he would take Chelsea star Eden Hazard over Liverpool star Mohamed Salah.
According to Souness, Hazard is a better player than Salah in terms of all-round play but hr believes Salah is a better goalscorer than Hazard.
Salah scored the winner for Liverpool vs Napoli on Tuesday to guide them into the knock-out stages of the Champions League.
“If I could take one it would be Eden Hazard,” Souness admitted in an interview with Daily Mail when asked if Salah was the best player in the Premier League.
“I think Salah will be a better goalscorer but in terms of all-round play (Hazard).”
Meanwhile, ahead of Chelsea’s Europa League clash against Vidi in Hungary, Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has revealed he would rest Eden Hazard after the Belgian international played three games in the space of six days.
“I don’t know the starting XI for tomorrow. I can tell you that I decided that the players who played for three matches in six days in the last week have to rest in this match and so I am talking about Kepa, Rudiger, Azpilicueta, Kante and Hazard,” Sarri said.
“Then we have three injuries. Kovacic, Cahill and Moses. All the other players are here, of course.”
