Chelsea left it late against Bournemouth as Eden Hazard had to come from the bench and give the Blues a 1-0 victory after Bournemouth goalkeeper Artur Boruc frustrated all Chelsea’s efforts to get a win.
Chelsea are now through to the semis after a well deserved Blues victory.
Kepa: Despite Chelsea’s dominance, the Chelsea goalkeeper still had to make a number of good saves to keep a clean sheet. 7/10
Rudiger: Dominant and assured in defence. Did well against Callum Wilson. 7/10
Christensen: Had to come off late in the game due to an injury concern, but the Danish international was pretty composed at the back. 6/10
Azpilicueta: Was good defensively but didn’t offer enough threat going forward. 6/10
Emerson: Started the first half bombarding the left flank for Chelsea but got quieter in the second half. His crosses were quite poor. 6/10

Kovacic: worked hard and was also brilliant going forward. A very good performance from the Croat. 7/10
Loftus-Cheek: Was Chelsea’s biggest threat all through the game. Looked very dangerous every time he had the ball. Wonderful performance. 8/10
Willian: Had one good chance in the first half that forced an impressive save from Boruc. Was dangerous at times, but had to be subbed off early in the second half, with Sarri keeping an eye on this weekend’s clash against Leicester City. 7/10
Giroud: Would be disappointed that he didn’t beat Boruc when he had the opportunity. Decent performance. 6/10
Pedro: Worked hard after coming on for Willian in the 54th minute. Helped the team keep the ball in difficult situations. 7/10
Hazard: Came on for Barkley after the hour mark and scored the all important winner. Added a fresh dynamics to the game. 8/10
Luiz: Came on in the 81st minute for Christensen and was solid.
