Chelsea came back from the derby defeat against Tottenham to beat Fulham 2-0 in yet another London derby.
Chelsea’s victory over close neighbours was a hard-fought one and it had to take a late goal from Ruben Loftus-Cheek to seal the victory.
Pedro scored the opener after four minutes following a good work from N’Golo Kante. The Frenchman did what he’s known for as he stole the ball from Jean Michael-Seri and laid on an assist for Pedro.
Pedro hailed Kante’s effort after the game as he said: “It’s very important to win and get confidence again.
“I am very happy for the team and the three points.
“N’Golo Kante is a very important player for us, he made my goal.”
Second-half substitute Ruben Loftus-Cheek came off the bench to smash home Chelsea’s crucial second goal in the 82nd minute.
Loftus-Cheek said who has had to fight for his shirt and is behind Mateo Kovacic and Ross Barkley was happy with his goal. He said: “It was a tough game, Fulham have a new manager and are looking more solid.
“We needed that second goal, they looked dangerous at times.
“When I get the opportunity I just do my best.”
