Chelsea were up in a title fight just early last month, but things have changed since the 3-1 defeat to Tottenham.
From being unbeaten in all competitions, Maurizio Sarri side’s form has dropped recently and the Blues have now lost two of their last three league games.
There seems to be more for Sarri to worry about after a really disappointing night for the Blues away at the Molineux Stadium as they slipped to a 2-1 defeat to Wolves having taken the lead through Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Speaking in his post match press conference, Sarri has revealed that he wasn’t worried about the result but his team’s lack of response.
He said: “I think that we played very well for 55 minutes. After the goal, it was an accident because we were in full control of the match.
“We were suddenly a different team, I don’t know why. I am really very worried, not for the result but for the fact we didn’t respond to the first goal.”
Sarri made a little tweak to his side as he handed a first Premier League start of the season to Loftus-Cheek and Andreas Christensen.
He said: “If you had asked me the same question after 55 minutes I would say I was happy. We lost everything. It can happen, but I don’t think it. It was without reaction.”
