Chelsea travel to Crystal Palace this weekend looking to make it two Premier League wins in a row after beating Watford 2-1 at the Vicarage Road in mid-week.

Chelsea laboured to get the three points at the Vicarage Road, and the Blues have another difficult clash against fellow Londoners Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Two Chelsea players pulled up their hamstring in the game against Watford, and Sarri has revealed that this is a problem for him in this weekend’s clash.

Speaking about the injuries to Pedro and Callum Hudson-Odoi, the Blues boss said: “[We have] Two problems, the first more serious with Pedro. A hamstring injury and I think that he will have to rest for about ten days.

“The second problem is Hudson-Odoi, it’s not a serious problem but I don’t know if he will play in the next match.”

Sarri can solve this problem by playing a front three of Willian, Eden Hazard and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, with Hazard playing as a false nine. Or he can choose to start Olivier Giroud in the middle and play Hazard and Willian as wingers.

Hazard has scored three goals and assisted two while playing as a striker, but despite excelling in his role as a false nine, Hazard recently revealed his desire to be played as a winger as he doesn’t see himself as a striker.

Asked if he thinks he will score more regularly if he plays as a striker full-time, Hazard replied: “Yes, for sure. But I will score more goals also if I play as a winger… my position is winger.

“I feel better as a winger, but like [against Watford] I did well as a striker, against Brighton I did well as a striker, so the manager chooses where to put me on the pitch and then I try to do my best.

“I score more goals, but I don’t feel I play better. I just score more goals.”

Sarri has however insisted Sarri insisted that he would continue to use Hazard as a false nine.

“He can play as a winger, or he is able to play in the centre,” Sarri said. “I am really very happy with him in this position, he can score but can open space for team-mates, and come to play with the team-mates.

“I am very happy with his position. But in the future he can play as a winger of course.

“It depends on the moment [whether Hazard plays as false nine]. At the moment we need to be solid. Hazard in this position I think we can be more solid, it is a good option in the defensive phase.

“It depends on the moment. Maybe in the future we will be able to play with a striker and Hazard together, it is not a big problem for us I think.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.

Chelsea need to be consistent in all games. Let us give chance to our young players at the club. Its so pathetic that we produce our own but we do not trust them. The young players we buy from other clubs develop rapidly because they were given a chance to showcase their talent and skills at their clubs.
Its time we changed the mind set at Chelsea. Fear will never help in making our club succeed. All we look at are short term plans.
We have so many players at the club no need to complain.
By the way, where is Victor Moses? If we don’t want him at Chelsea let him go and see how he will come back to taunt and haunt us.
    Very concerned supporter.
