Chelsea have been heavily linked with Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson and according a report on Daily Mail, Bournemouth have placed an asking price of £75 million on the striker.

Chelsea are keen on signing a striker this month with Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud struggling for the Blues. Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has been using Eden Hazard as a centre forward recently and the Belgium played through the middle in Chelsea’s 2-1 win over Newcastle United on Saturday.

Bournemouth’s valuation of Wilson is a mind-blowing 25 times increase on what Bournemouth paid to secure the services of Wilson from Coventry in 2014.

Despite signing former Chelsea striker Dominic Solanke from Liverpool, Bournemouth are keen on holding onto Wilson but would be reportedly tempted to sell if Chelsea offer a ridiculous amount for the striker.

Solanke is currently sidelined until February and Bournemouth aren’t willing to cash in on Wilson just yet.

Meanwhile, the future of Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata is still up in the air with Chelsea yet to sign a striker.

Morata is a target for Bayern Munich, Sevilla and Barcelona but Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is reluctant to lose the Spanish striker until he has added additional firepower.

Speaking on the possibility of Morata leaving Chelsea this month, Sarri said before Chelsea’s 2-1 win over Newcastle: “If Morata goes to another club we need a replacement.

“At the moment Morata is here, so he has to think only about playing. In this moment in Europe there are 300 players involved in the market. They only need to think about the next match otherwise it’s impossible to play.”
