Kepa: Unfortunate not to have kept a clean sheet. Barely had anything to do other than pick the ball out of his net. 6/10

Azpilicueta: Had a good game going forward and was very much solid at the back. 6/10

Luiz: Was having a good game until his mistake caused Malmo to score their only goal. 6/10

Christensen: Very comfortable evening for the young defender and was confident in defence. 7/10

Emerson: Spent most of the evening in Malmo’s half and was dangerous going forward. 6/10

Jorginho: Comfortable evening for the Italian as he dictated play from central midfield. Subbed off towards the end of the game for N’Golo Kante. 6/10

Kovacic: Made some good runs while on the ball. After a mistake made early in the game, he was consistent for the rest of the game. 7/10

Barkley: Had a good game and was involved in both goals. Scored Chelsea’s first goal and his general performance was brilliant. 8/10

Willian: Nice skill to assist Giroud for his goal. Had a good game generally. 7/10

Pedro: Assisted Barkley for the first goal, but for much of the game he went missing. 6.5/10

Giroud: Scored the second goal and missed a lot of opportunities that could have led to a more comprehensive victory. Was a good focal point upfront. 7.5/10

Subs

Hazard: Came on for Willian, and used his skills to worry Malmo’s defence. 6/10

Kante: Came on for Jorginho and put in a lot of tackles.

Hudson-Odoi: Came on late in the game, but still had one time where he beat the full-back and created a good opportunity. 6/10

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
