Chelsea star Eden Hazard has been linked with a move to Spanish club Real Madrid this summer.
Hazard revealed this week that he has made a decision on his future and would reveal all soon. Many believe that decision is to move to Real Madrid at the end of the season.
Cesc Fabregas, who played alongside Hazard at Chelsea before moving to Monaco in January, hopes Hazard extends his Chelsea contract and stay at the club beyond 2020.
Fabregas also revealed Hazard has always said that he likes Real Madrid and believes the Belgian will move to Spain if he doesn’t renew his Chelsea contract.
”Let’s see what he decides to do. He has a year and a half left and he is happy at Chelsea and so is his family,’”Fabregas told Radio Marca.
“But in the end they are very personal decisions. He likes Madrid and he has always said it.
“Hopefully he will renew with Chelsea, but if he does not he will finish in Madrid.”
28 year old Hazard has been in excellent form for Chelsea this season scoring 15 goals and providing 10 assists. He scored a brace in last weekend’s 5-0 drubbing of Huddersfield Town at Stamford Bridge.
