Jose Mourinho still remains the longest-serving manager in the Roman Abramovich era at Chelsea. The Portuguese lasted three-and-a-half-years as Chelsea manager in his first stint at the club, and then lasted for just two-and-a-half-years in his second spell as Blues boss – the most for any manager at Chelsea since Roman Abramovich took over.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich isn’t known to have patience and he definitely isn’t afraid to issue a sack, and that might just be the case of Maurizio Sarri who bookmakers believe will be sacked before the end of the season.

Sarri started out the job as Blues boss with a bang, as Chelsea were winning and dominating games. The Blues were even involved in the title race, but Chelsea’s fortune has changed since the defeat to Tottenham back in November, and Sarri’s side has been on a downward spiral.

The Blues have lost three away games in a row without putting a fight, with embrassing defeats to Arsenal and Bournemouth was followed by a humiliating 6-0 loss to Manchester City on Sunday, and Sarri’s job now seem to be at stake.

Paul Clement, who worked at Chelsea from 2007-11, believes that the club’s owners will not accept the result and will take measures against the Italian.

“There’s something going on that’s wrong behind the scenes,” Clement told beIN SPORTS.

“What I do know for sure is that the club will not accept that. The owner will not accept that.

“History shows that when the team is not playing at the level that is required, and expected for a club like that and what they’ve achieved over the years, they do take measures. They will act.”

Manchester United legend Gary Neville also believes that Sarri will be given the sack, and Neville believes it could come as soon as possible.

He said: “The interviews that Sarri has done, you can multiply that by 10 because what we hear is only part of it.

“If it’s coming out publicly, inside it’s probably not that great.

“It’s the kind of club you wouldn’t be surprised if you wake up tomorrow and find Chelsea have changed their manager.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
