Reports from France this week claimed N’Golo Kante’s relationship with Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is strained and the midfielder would consider a move to PSG in the summer.
According to the report which is obviously fake, Kante is unhappy about being asked to play further high the pitch and wants to play as a defensive midfielder with the report claiming PSG are happy to play him as a defensive midfielder.
Kante has now rubbished the reports after claiming he is enjoying his new position under Sarri.
In an interview with Chelsea’s official website, Kante said: “I am enjoying the way I am playing in this position and I hope to win things together with my team-mates and my coach and this is the most important thing.
“I think I have improved some aspects of my style of play, to play for combinations with my team-mates, to try to find the best passes, to get my chances to shoot and score. I think I have improved, but I have a lot of work ahead and I keep working in the way the manager wants me to.”
That obviously doesn’t sound like a man that is unhappy with his new role under Sarri.
Kante also assessed his performances in his new role under Kante.
“I think I played some good and not so good games, but the most important thing is to play as a team, to complement our team-mates, to be organised and work together,” Kante added.
“I think in training we prepare the game in the best way and we need to reproduce that in the games.”
