Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has the reputation of being the nicest player in the sport. Kante is known for his easygoing nature and humility, and he’s loved all over the world for his personality, while he’s still the man who does the extra work in the team.

While we all know about Kante’s gentle nature, we might not know much about the Frenchman’s character in the dressing room, and Chelsea skipper Cesar Azpilicueta has pointed out that Kante might just be the biggest joker in the locker room.

The likes of David Luiz and Antonio Rudiger might be thought to have that title, but Azpilicueta has revealed that Kante is the biggest joke, and that he says things you wouldn’t believe will come from him.

Azpilicueta told Chelsea’s Opening The Lead: “I don’t know about joker but the funniest is N’Golo because he does things, he tells you something that he did at home or something he forgot, or when he arrived late.

“There are a couple of things when he tells you, you laugh with him because you don’t expect that he can do that kind of stuff.”

Rudiger already has the fame for being the most notorious Chelsea player, and Azpilicueta pointed out that he’s the noisiest on the pitch and in the dressing, a statement that has been confirmed by his other teammates.

Cesar said: “Rudiger. You can hear him! Whether it is in the dressing room, on the pitch or at the table, you know where he is.”

Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek cuts a quiet figure, and Azpilicueta admitted that the Chelsea academy product is the quitest player in the team.

The Chelsea skipper said: “Ruben is quite quiet. I have been with him a long time, he started to train with us when he was 17 but still he is very quiet. You will never see him talking loudly and even though he grew, he is still a quiet kid.”

Despite being captain, Azpilicueta revealed that the entire team works together to lift morale after a defeat, and the experienced players tend to help the younger players too.

He said: “We are part of a group where we have experience of the club and football at this level and with experience you try to help the young players and the people that come new to the club.

“We know each other and we have to push because there is nothing stronger than a unit.”
