Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko has enjoyed a successful season on loan at Serie A club AC Milan after struggling in his debut season at Chelsea.
After initially struggling at AC Milan, Bakayoko has shown his quality, helping AC Milan rise up the league standings in the Serie A.
Milan have an option to sign Bakayoko permanently for £30million from Chelsea but the France international insists he is unsure of his next move when his loan deal expires at the end of the season.
“When I think of my future, it is a total blur,” Bakayoko told France Football. “I cannot empty my head.
“I’m doing everything to qualify for the Champions League. It’s been five years since the Milan fans have heard the Champions League anthem and I want to be there the next time it sounds in San Siro.
“I’m having a good season, I’m very grateful to Milan. I’m very happy here, although at first, I was criticised. But it’s normal, they expected more, there is no problem.”
AC Milan are currently third in the Serie A, four points clear of fifth-place Roma and Bakayoko would definitely be delighted his dream of getting AC Milan back to the Champions League is on track.
Bakayoko has made 31 appearances in all competitions for AC Milan this season.
