Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi wanted to leave the club in January due to lack of game time but Chelsea refused to sanction a move despite Bayern Munich offering £35million for the 18-year-old.
The teenager reinforced his soaring profile as one of Europe’s biggest talents by making his first two senior England appearances in the recent international window and impressed in his first England start in the 5-1 win at Montenegro.
Despite earning his first two caps for England, Hudson-Odoi is still keen on leaving Chelsea in the summer according to Daily Mail.
Hudson-Odoi is reportedly frustrated at the lack of Premier League opportunities he has been given by Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri.
Since submitting a transfer request in January, Hudson-Odoi has played just 50 minutes in the Premier League and the teenager isn’t happy with the amount of game time he has received in the Premier League.
It is believed Bayern Munich will return with an offer for the teenager in the summer with Manchester United and Barcelona also interested in the youngster.
Representatives from Bundesliga sides RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund were at Wembley on Friday to watch Hudson-Odoi’s England debut.
Meanwhile, Chelsea star Eden Hazard has paid tribute to Chelsea fans amid speculation linking him with a summer move to Spanish side Real Madrid.
Speaking after filming an advert for Hyundai, Hazard said: “Personally, when I go on to the pitch I play for the fans.
“As players we are lucky to have the Chelsea fans because they travel everywhere and always show great support.”
