Real Madrid have been struggling since Zinedine Zidane departed the club at the end of last season after three successful campaigns.

The La Liga giants have now sacked Santiago Solari who’s their second manager this season, and bring back Zidane, who guided them to three consecutive Champions League titles before quitting last summer.

Real are far off in the title race and were knocked out by Ajax 4-1 in the Champions League and this has been a terrible campaign by their standards.

Ordinarily, the news of Real Madrid wanting to sack their manager and appoint a new manager shouldn’t concern among Chelsea fans, but Blues fans are now worried that Eden Hazard’s move to Madrid will be a done deal once Zidane gets back.

Hazard hasn’t hidden his desire to play for Real Madrid, and Zidane is one player he idolises, to make matters worse. The 28-year-old is yet to sign a new contract with Chelsea, and his current contract winds up at the end of next season.

Chelsea fans have now lost all hope of keeping Hazard, and have been airing their views on social media. One fan tweeted: “Zidane back at Madrid… If there was any hope Hazard would stay, that’s gone now!!”

Another added: “Will be a miracle if we can keep Hazard in the summer now Zidane is going back to Real Madrid.”

While another added: “Omg if Zidane goes back to Real, Hazard will defo leave.”

Hazard has revealed that he’s made up his mind on where he’ll play his football next season, but he’s yet to make his intentions known.

Hazard earned Chelsea a point with his stoppage time goal against Wolves on Sunday as Chelsea trailed the game following a 56th minute Raul Jimenez strike.

Hazard revealed after the game that the players are disappointed not to beat Wolves. Hazard also believes Chelsea would have lost this type of game three months ago.

“Of course we are disappointed. We didn’t create a lot of chances and we moved the ball too slowly,” Hazard told Sky Sports.

“This type of game, maybe three months ago we’d have lost.

“The spirit is good. When we lost 6-0 to Manchester City, we said there were three or four months left and we have to try and finish in the top four.

“The players are a bit sad, because we probably could do better.”
