Cesc Fabregas has played with a huge number of football legends from his time at Arsenal to Barcelona and then Chelsea, and for a player of his calibre, picking eleven out of them will be a huge task.
After leaving La Masia as a teenager, Fabregas rose to fame early in his career as a teenager in north London and was a key part of a Gunners side which won the FA Cup in 2005 and reached the Champions League final a year later. Fabregas then moved to Barcelona in 2011, before signing for Chelsea in 2014, after three years in Spain. The 31-year-old spent four-and-a-half-years in Chelsea before leaving for Monaco in January.
Two Chelsea heroes made Fabregas’ dream team, and the Spaniard also found a place for former Blue Diego Costa whom he had a good relationship on the pitch with during their time at Chelsea.
In goal, Fabregas opted for Iker Casillas ahead of the likes of Victor Valdes and Thibaut Courtois.
John Terry is the only non-Barcelona affiliated player selected in his back four which also includes Dani Alves, Gerard Pique and Jordi Alba.
In the middle of the park, he went for Andres Iniesta and Patrick Viera, with Eden Hazard and Lionel Messi on the flanks.
Arsenal legend Thierry Henry and Diego Costa made the cut for his front two, and he admitted that it was a difficult decision for him to leave out David Villa.
