Barcelona star Lionel Messi believes Chelsea star Eden Hazard is among the top five players in the world.
Messi also named Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero, Barcelona’s Luis Suarez, and PSG duo Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in his top five.
“It was nice to have Ronaldo in La Liga for the prestige he brought,” Messi told 947FMRadio, according to Metro UK.
“Excluding him [Ronaldo] and me, the best players in the world are Mbappe, Hazard, Suarez, Aguero and Neymar.”
Meanwhile, Arsenal have offered Chelsea legend Petr Cech a coaching role but the Gunners fear the 36-year-old would instead take up a coaching role at Stamford Bridge with Chelsea also interested in offering him a coaching role at the club, according to The Sun.
Cech left Chelsea for Arsenal in the summer of 2015 after winning four Premier League titles and a Champions League at Stamford Bridge over the course of an 11-year spell.
Chelsea want the goalkeeper back at Stamford Bridge as a coach or club ambassador.
Cech has already started working towards his coaching badges and is expected to make a decision on his future in the summer.
