Kepa: Wasn’t really tested all through the game. Didn’t move for Victor Camarasa’s goal. Should have done better. 5/10

Azpilicueta: Scored Chelsea’s equaliser albeit in an offside position. Solid at the back and supported the attack from the right. 7/10

Rudiger: Didn’t have a good game at all. Could easily have conceded a penalty and played so many wrong passes. Dallied too long on the ball too. 3/1.

Luiz: Not a good afternoon from the Brazilian. Looked off the pace and many of his passes were off target. 3/10

Alonso: Didn’t support the team’s attack well enough from the left flank. Was slow in possession and exposed defensively as well .Josh Murphy got pass him down the flank and behind the defence a couple of times. 2/10

Jorginho: Another game where the Italian struggled. He was man-marked out of the game by Camarasa. There was no forward movement and forward balls from him. His tempo was too slow to help his team. Had to be subbed off in the second-half. 4/10

Barkley: Just a decent performance from the Englishman. Gave a couple of passes away, and he missed a good chance that would have killed the game late on. 5/10

Kovacic: Offered very little all through the game. Looked a shadow of himself. 4/10

Pedro: Had a good shot that slightly went over the bar, and it seemed that was his only contribution to the game. 3/10

Willian: Was Chelsea’s brightest player in the frontline. Was below par at times but got better in the second-half. Played a big part in both the goals, firstly with the corner and then with the cross for Loftus-Cheek to nod home. 7/10

Higuain: Was poor all through the game till he was subbed off for Olivier Giroud. Didn’t offer anything to the team’s attack, didn’t press and didn’t touch the ball in the opposition box all through the first-half. Was no threat at all to the Cardiff defence. 2/10

Subs

Hazard: Came on for Pedro in the 53rd minute, and provided the spark for Chelsea to come back and win the game. 8/10

Loftus-Cheek: Came on for Jorginho in the 64th minute and brought a different dimension to the Chelsea midfield. Scored the winner for his side. 7.5/10

Giroud: Came on for Higuain with 13 minutes left, and his impact was felt as he used his strength and aerial ability to trouble the Cardiff defence. 6/10
