Chelsea did well to beat Fulham 2-1 away from home in a very tough west London derby. Goals from Gonzalo Higuain and Jorginho were enough for Chelsea to seal the three points at Craven Cottage.

Chelsea were by far the better team in the first-half, but Fulham took control of the game in the second period and had a number of chances to score the equaliser.

Kepa: Had a good game and many stops to save Chelsea from dropping points. 8/10

Azpilicueta: Good game. Put his body on the line a number of times. Provided Higuain with a wonderful assist for his goal, and did well against Babel in defence. 7/10

Rudiger: Solid but had a difficult game against Mitrovic. His mistake led to caused Kepa to make a good save in the first-half, and Fulham scored from the resulting corner. 6/10

Christensen: Was solid and composed in defence and never seemed to have done anything wrong al game. However, he went missing as Mitrovic almost scored a late goal which was saved by Kepa. 7/10

Emerson: Decent game, but seemed to have had a tough time against Ryan Sessegnon. 6/10

Jorginho: Scored the winning goal for Chelsea shortly after Chambers equalized for Fulham. Had a good although there were a number of occasions when he misplaced some passes. Played some good over the top balls for Higuain and Willian. 7.5/10

Kante: Worked hard as usual and made some important interceptions for his teammates. Covered a lot of flaws and made up for some of his teammate’s mistakes. 7/10

Barkley: Was solid in midfield and worked hard for the team, but not enough when attacking. Fizzled out in the second-half. 6/10

Hazard: Had a good first-half and threatened Fulham’s defence at times, but he seemed tired in the second-half and went missing as Sarri took him off for Pedro. 6/10

Willian: Good game from the Brazilian. Might not have gotten a goal, but he played an important role in the victory as he was a constant threat on the right flank. 7/10

Higuain: Took his goal really well and showed good movements all through the game. Got quiet in the second-half. 7/10


Kovacic: Came on for Jorginho and tried to add some intensity to Chelsea’s pressing after coming in the 68th minutes as Fulham took control of the game. 6/10

Pedro: Looked anonymous after replacing Hazard in the 74th minute. 5/10

Loftus-Cheek: Made a couple of nice runs after replacing Barkley with 12 minutes left of the game. 6/10
