Spanish side Real Madrid have been linked with a move for Chelsea star Eden Hazard all season and the reappointment of Zinedine Zidane as Real Madrid boss has intensified rumours.
Zidane has been to sign PSG star Kylian Mbappe, another player linked with a summer move to Real Madrid, instead of Eden Hazard, much to the delight of Chelsea fans.
Asked who he would attempt to sign in the close season if he was Real boss Zinedine Zidane, ESPN pundit Alejandro Moreno said: “Eden Hazard, he had his chance, I don’t think so.
“It didn’t quite work out, he didn’t push hard enough, he’s stayed at Chelsea. No.
“And the reason I can say no to Eden Hazard is because I’ve got this [Mbappe].
“I have Kylian Mbappe, who would be priority one for me if I was Zinedine Zidane.
“If I’m Real Madrid I want to attract attention, I want to attract marketing, I want to cover that [Cristiano] Ronaldo hole.
“Who better than Kylian Mbappe? For the next 10 years.”
While talking about a potential move to Real Madrid for Neymar, Moreno added: “Let me tell you something, I don’t want drama in my life, I don’t need drama in my life.
“I don’t want any part of this and I’d say ‘Neymar, enjoy Paris, have a good time’.
“If Mbappe was priority one, priority 1a is this guy [Harry Kane].
“I know Zidane loves some Benzema, but if you want some goals for years to come, this is your answer.
“I don’t know whether he leaves Spurs or not but if I was in Zidane’s head, this is what I would go after.”
