Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo is one of hottest managerial prospects in Europe after impressing this season with newly promoted Wolves. His Wolves team beat Chelsea 2-1 at Molineux and drew 1-1 at Stamford Bridge.
Nuno Espirito Santo has been linked with a summer switch to Chelsea as speculation continues to surround Maurizio Sarri’s future as Chelsea boss.
When questioned on links with a move to Chelsea, Santo said: “No comments, it doesn’t mean anything. Nothing, I am here speaking with you.”
Asked if he is happy at Molineux, he said: “I consider myself a happy person, yes.
“Yes, with the problems and difficulties that are involved but at the same time, it is a moment of joy, especially total dedication to what I must do and what we must do to keep on becoming better and growing. Focused.”
Meanwhile, Chelsea loanee Mario Pasalic, currently on loan at Serie A side Atalanta, has revealed that he doesn’t want to return to Stamford Bridge when his loan deal at Atalanta expires at the end of the season.
Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, Pasalic said: “We want to win the Italian Cup. I turned around a lot, maybe too much. I think, ‘Ok, I’ll stop, then not it never happens. Now I would like to stop, here in Bergamo there is the ideal environment.
“I knew I could demonstrate my qualities, I dream of dressing the same shirt for a long time: maybe it’s the right time, but it doesn’t depend on me.”
